Lu and Jill, we need to move some things around in the main living area.

[He's rubbing a towel over his face and neck as he moves through the halls of the building. As usual, he's shirtless and covered in those black tattoos.

There's even a new one right over his heart.]

We have a delivery coming and we need room for it.

[She stares for a long moment, taking in the tattoos and well, the shirtlessness. What? She can appreciate pretty things]

Delivery? I'll help you move things around. Lucy thinks boys are for things like that.

[He tosses the towel over his shoulder so that it drapes there.]

We need room to fit a piano.

[There's several moments of shocked silence before...]

I bought a piano and they're delivering later. We need room to fit it.

[Which is her roundabout way of asking if he's going to share it sometimes.]

[Hey, he heard her play and thinks she's good.]

[There's another long bout of silence. No one is ever or has ever been nice to her except Lucy and she's trying to look for a loophole or a catch somewhere. But finally there's another quieter...]

Ooooh presents. I'll supervise. [Because Jill is right, Lucy does think boys are moving. And since she's appreciative of pretty things and notices changes in her pretty things...] What's with the new tatt?

[And Jace shows up at the door and comes inside, tossing the towel on the table.]

So, we need to move things.

More like very big present. [And Jace looks down at the rune over his heart.] It'll go away soon.

[Jill is sitting on the couch when Jace comes in and yes, she looks shell-shocked. She eyes him, wide-eyed for the moment. Then her gaze dips down, she flushes pink and gets up from the couch, turning away to hide it.]

We could move that bookshelf and table and put it in that corner over there.

[Jace studies the corner with interest. Enough so that he ignores the looks on her face and the blush.]

That could work. We'll have to move the table first. It'll be easier to move the bookshelf when that's out of the way.

[She moves to the table and starts moving the chairs around it out of the way. Busy work is good work. Plus it's nice to feel like she contributed something to this whole thing.]

Plus we can unload the bookshelf onto the table before we move it.

[Which is him just stating facts. He really is being nice currently. Going to one end of the table, he waits for her to get to the other end.]

It will be a chance to straighten out what's in there when things are put back too. [Compulsive. Neat. Freak.]

[Jill just assumes he means 'we' instead of 'you' and misspoke cause she doesn't really get why it wouldn't be easier for him. There's the super hero thing of course but... really? Color her a skeptic.

She moves to the other side of the table and lifts it to help move it.]

I'll get a dust rag and dust it once we get it cleaned off and where we want it.

That works.

[He'll probably help with that too. Just because he has a need to keep things clean and that's been bothering him. Lifting the other end of the table, he guides it over out of the way before setting it down again.]

[After setting down the table, Jill moves over to the bookshelf to start unloading it, setting the contents on the moved table. After several moments, a rare, large smile spreads over her lips.]

We're getting a piano. Well, you are... but I get to play it sometimes.

[He picks up the heavier things like they're very light in reality and gets everything that is higher up. He's around six foot so he can easily reach that high.]

Oh. [Yeah, she thinks she knows Jace well enough that she knows why he needs a healing rune over his heart.] Do they work for that?
