Lu and Jill, we need to move some things around in the main living area.

[He's rubbing a towel over his face and neck as he moves through the halls of the building. As usual, he's shirtless and covered in those black tattoos.

There's even a new one right over his heart.]

We have a delivery coming and we need room for it.

You bought Jill a piano? [This is said in a very excited voice on the edge of a squeal.]

Oh. [Yeah, she thinks she knows Jace well enough that she knows why he needs a healing rune over his heart.] Do they work for that?

I bought everyone a piano but I did know she'd be one of the people playing it.

[Color him confused.] Work for what?

That's amazing. You are--grumpy and broody and very manly. [See how she's not calling him sweet.]

Broken heart?

You forgot "every girl's dream".

No. It doesn't work on broken hearts. Besides, I don't have one.

Right. Silly me.

[And lots of furrowed brow here.] Then why the healing rune?

Just taking care of something. No big deal.

[He smiles at her with that charming smile of his.]

[Her hands go to her hips.] Did you get stabbed in the heart and not tell me?

[She still thinks it's a broken heart]

If you put a Mark close or on the heart then it's far stronger than if you put it anywhere else.

What are you healing from...? Jace, you are not allowed to die here. Just so you know.

It wasn't anything serious. Just annoying.

Did this happen when you were doing your MIA thing?

During the curse actually.

[There's lots of doubt here.] Okay...but you're good now, right?

Completely.

Okay. [She still doesn't sound entirely sure of this. She worries about him.]

You are free to give me a thorough once over after Jill and I move furniture.

Trust me. I will. I'm coming to watch the furniture moving right now.

I figured you would.

I'm a girl of simple pleasures.

I'm anything but simple, Lu. The complexity is part of my charm.

See I thought the abs were part of your charm. My mistake.

No. Those just make me amazing.

Oh good. I'm glad you set me straight.

It's my duty to make sure people understand the ways I am amazing.

I'd say you're doing your duty admirably. [She laughs as she says it.]
